As many of you know, I tried to make my existing wardrobe work for as long as possible in this pregnancy… but once I hit the third trimester, I needed some help.
I first discovered Seraphine Maternity from an ad that was talking about her maternity and babywearing coats. After snagging one on sale, I immediately placed another order and wore a ton of their stuff until baby boy was born.
Seraphine Maternity Review
About Seraphine Maternity
Seraphine is a maternity brand that I discovered during my first pregnancy. They’ve since been acquired by another brand, but you can still get their pregnancy and nursing friendly clothes. They even have some options for fathers too!
Seraphine Maternity Sizing
Seraphine is a UK based brand, so I took a look at their sizing chart linked with each product before ordering. I was typically a 2/4 before pregnancy and I sized all way up to a 6 in my parka which was unnecessary. Since then, I’ve gotten a 4 in everything and that feels like the right size for me. Also, for length reference, I am 5’2″!
Seraphine 3-in-1 Maternity and Babywearing Coats

3-in-1 maternity parka
This was my first Seraphine purchase and introduction to the brand – and I’m so glad I got it! II thought the concept was so cool, so I went in my closet to try on my existing winter coat to see if I thought it would zip all the way through my pregnancy… and the answer was definitely no.
Because we live in Chicago, I loved the idea of having a maternity coat that would fit me well. First, it’s super high quality and WARM! Second, it’s a great looking coat so I know I’ll wear it postpartum too. And third, it comes with a babywearing insert so I can extend the coat to fit around my little guy in a carrier once he arrives. I already know I’ll use that feature a tone when I don’t want to deal with the whole stroller setup to take Luna outside. A great solution to city problems 😉
I sized up to a 6 which was unnecessary, but I kept it for layering purposes. I would recommend just getting your normal size though. I know it’s selling out fast, so don’t forget to check out their other maternity and babywearing options here too!
Chrissy Reversible Maternity & Babywearing Jacket
This one isn’t available anymore but I love this raincoat as a lighter option! Again, you can adjust the waist for room during pregnancy or cinch it to define your waist postpartum. It also comes with a babywearing insert so you can keep your little one warm while wearing a carrier.
Seraphine Maternity and Nursing Dresses

My Seraphine maternity dresses are all old now, besides this one!! It’s so great for cold months because the sweater is really cozy (and detachable – cute with jeans after baby arrives!) and it looks great with tights or boots. I also love that it has openings in the dress for each nursing or pumping when you’re postpartum.
They have a ton of other options – both fancier and more casual for you to choose from too. I particularly love this one for a baby shower. So pretty!
