Choosing the right engagement ring is the first step to a happy marriage. It shows that you know your partner, and it is something that they will associate with you. For this reason, choosing the best engagement and wedding rings is not easy, but considering these 4 factors can help:
- The style: princess or oval cut diamond? Braided or plain band? Knowing the right style is half the battle, and to do that you need to know your partner. And unfortunately, we can’t help you with that.
- Material of the band: Wedding rings that are to be worn every day should be made of solid 14-karat gold as a minimum. With constant wear, plated gold will fade, and you definitely don’t want that. You can choose between white, yellow or rose gold in 14 or 18 carat gold. 24-karat gold tends to be softer and is not suitable for daily wear.
- Stone and carat: Diamonds seem to be the obvious stone, but not everyone likes diamonds. When deciding on a diamond, pay attention to the carat size. The higher the carat number, the more expensive it is.

What is the difference between the Diamond Hybrid® and lab-grown diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are man-made with the same pressure that the earth uses to create diamonds with earth spirit. They also have the same chemical, physical and optical properties.
Diamond Hybrid® is a man-made diamond that is coated with a base gemstone core. These stones are not made of pure carbon (like those mined from the earth and grown in a lab) and are not identical to a real diamond – but the outer layer is.
