Overview of Solly Baby
The founder of Solly Baby, Elle, is a “hugger, not a handshaker”. She is a warm, humble, hardworking and loving mother of four who lives in California and has been producing Solly Baby Wraps in Carlsbad since 2010. Elle had a difficult transition to motherhood, and she has made it her mission to help families through difficult transitions and give them the opportunity to feel happy, connected and empowered.
Elle believes in three things and these define her life and mission at Solly Baby:
To be thoughtful
Keeping it simple
Doing small things with big love
Elle’s first baby suffered from colic and reflux. She fondly remembers holding her firstborn, but the back pain and headaches that came with it were less than ideal. For her second child, she wanted to make a better product. Elle began in earnest with a growing belly and made a simple sling for her son Solomon, whom they named Solly.
The scarf created an almost magical feeling of connection and intimacy between her and Solly, and when she reached for his fingers peeking out of the scarf, she knew she had to share it with the world. This now globally famous scarf has been worn by some of the world’s most famous moms, including Anne Hathaway, Serena Williams and Pink, but also by ordinary moms and dads like the ones you know and love. Little ones love the sling, and for parents, it’s safe and reassuring when accompanying their older children or taking on a full day of chores.

Did you know that the Neutral Stripe Wrap helps reduce postpartum depression? Pretty amazing! Not only that, the wrap reduces baby crying by 43%, so you can finally go for a coffee, pick up the groceries or sit down to read in peace again (because your hands are free!).
You can wear your little one for hours in the Neutral Stripe Wrap, sharing the intimate connection and the lightweight, divinely soft, breathable material that makes you both feel most comfortable. Solly Baby Wrap Animal Spots Review

The need to care for one’s own offspring is often described as “animalistic”. Sometimes the best parents are found in the wild, from strong lionesses to well-groomed penguins.
With the Animal Spots Wrap, you too can exude the same protective instinct. This sophisticated wrap with black spots on a linen background ensures a close bond between you and your baby.
Made from lightweight fabric, the Animal Spots Wrap is comfortable and relaxing for both parent and child.
It can also help reduce gas and reflux and make the inevitable diaper change easier. Price-wise, this baby carrier costs $74.
Solly Baby Sleepers Review
Pajamas are the best sleepwear for babies. Solly Baby Sleepers are long-sleeved onesies with foot and hand covers for a warm and comfortable sleep. The sleep gowns with foot cover are more for nighttime diaper changes, so perfect for the first month when your baby is wetting their pants every few hours.
Like the Solly Baby wipes, these items are available in neutral plain, striped and patterned designs. In this Solly baby wrap review, we show you some of the popular sleepsuits and sleep coats:

This baby sleeper in Oat Dot is adorable. After changing your baby, the sleeper offers a smooth transition to their outfit and is designed for a fuss-free process. With its pull-on design and wide neckline, it’s ideal for at home, napping or a cozy outing.
One of the most important things for parents is their baby’s comfort and sleep, and Solly has both covered. The two-piece Baby Sleeper in Oat Dot has high-waisted pull-on pants that finish above the umbilical stump, and the material is lightweight and gorgeously soft.

Solly Baby Sleep Gown in Marengo Review

The sleepsuit from Marengo is simply too cute to be true. The sleep robe is made from the same material as the silky-soft swaddles and has a knotted tail for easy diaper changes. Your baby will feel great in these light and breathable pyjamas.
The sleep coat in Marengo is priced at $38 and is available in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months.

Is Solly Baby Worth It?
Elle’s first goal with Solly Baby was to be considerate. Her second goal was to keep it simple. From the luxuriously soft modal fabric that keeps parents and infants cozy but not sweaty, to the simple, solid patterns, Elle consistently delivers on her vision. Solly is a company that considers the physiological benefits for both parent and child, ensuring that life is safe, comfortable and connected – just as it should be for a newborn.
This eco-friendly company takes life into consideration first and foremost, leaving your hand free for that steaming cup of coffee or for your older child’s hand. From start to finish, our Solly Baby sling review found Solly Baby’s culture and products to be absolutely fantastic.

FAQ
How to use a Solly Baby sling?
If you’re a new mom, one look at a sling with a screaming and wriggling infant on your hip can make you feel all tangled up. Luckily, Soly Baby’s instructions can make swaddling much easier.
So, let’s get started so you and your baby can snuggle up! The label in the center of the sling is an important marker that indicates the center of the sling. At the end there is a pocket into which the whole sling can be stuffed. After five or six attempts, you will have overcome the learning curve and entered your muscle memory.
- Grab the top few inches and wrap it around the bottom of your sternum.
- Bring the other hand behind your back and wrap it around the opposite shoulder.
- Now wrap it around the other shoulder (so you can keep the straps flat and untwisted).
- Now pull it through and push it through the section with the label.
- Pull down firmly
- Cross over to form the ‘X’ on the front (this will determine how high or low your baby will be)
- Keep it tight and wrap it around your waist.
- Tie a nice double knot wherever you end.
- Pull the straps through to prepare for the baby’s insertion.
- Pass one leg at a time under the “X”.
- Allow the baby to settle down so it can sit low.
- Grasp the shoulder strap and start to spread it out
- Feel the area of the pendant and pull it over the legs up to the neck.
- For small children, you can leave the feet covered until you feel them pushing down with force.
- Make sure that no fabric covers your baby’s airway.
- To take the baby out, imagine you are peeling an onion:
