In this review of PROVEN Skincare, I take an in-depth look at the brand and its products, customer reviews, promotions and more to help you decide if it’s really worth taking the plunge.

Our skin is the first thing other people see. It is therefore not surprising that skin problems such as acne, melasma and skin ageing have a significant psychosocial impact[1].

In a review[2] looking at the psychological impact of acne in teenagers, it was found that acne can affect quality of life, self-esteem and mood. In addition, the presence of acne has been linked to anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts.

I know how I feel on days when I have bad skin, and even though I cover up, it’s hard to regain the same confidence I normally have.

Simply put, PROVEN creates its formulas using data from the Skin Genome Project™, winner of the 2018 MIT Prize for Artificial Intelligence.

It almost makes me dizzy until I remember that it’s a super-intelligent AI computer that stores all this information.

PROVEN Skincare Quiz

The Skin Genome Quiz™ helps you identify your top skin concerns: sensitivity, redness, fine lines or wrinkles, loss of firmness or elasticity, hyperpigmentation, acne, dryness, etc.

I thought it was cool that as I went through the quiz, the ingredients popped up under the bar as a visual representation of the PROVEN formulation of my personalized skincare regimen.

The quiz also asks non-specific questions in addition to the questions about the individual problem areas:

• Have you been diagnosed with a skin condition such as rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, facial psoriasis or eczema/atopic dermatitis?

It’s thorough, and I like that.

The whole process takes 3 to 5 minutes, then you get a customized program with three products: A cleanser, a day moisturizer with SPF, and a night cream.

Each product contains detailed information about the ingredients, the role they play in combating your dermatological problems and how they contribute to healthy skin.

For this review, I took the quiz 4 times to give you some insight into the formulas for anti-aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, and dry skin. In case anyone asks, I’m one of four quadruplets…. with the same name…
