Overview of Coop Home Goods
Coop Home Goods was founded by former sleepless night owl Kevin Chon, who once suffered from chronic upper back and neck pain. Kevin was desperate for a pillow that would relieve his pain and allow him to sleep through the night. The goal of Coop Home Goods? To provide you with the best possible sleep experience through sleep products that are tailored to you.
With a great idea and the product development experience (gained from growing up in his parents’ textile business), Chon and his sister Jin set out to create the perfect pillow – one that adapts to individual needs, is suitable for allergy sufferers and provides both support and comfort. Following the successful launch of their first pillow in 2013, a larger collection of sleep products followed.

Flip Mattress Topper

Not completely satisfied with your mattress? You don’t have to write it off just yet. With the Flip mattress topper from Coop Home Goods, you can choose between two levels of support: firm and soft. The firm side is recommended for those who want better support and alignment of the entire body, while the softer side is suitable for those who want to relieve muscle pain or sleep on the next cloud.
You can choose which side best suits your needs and simply flip them over if required. The Coop Home Goods mattress topper is covered with waterproof protection and has elastic straps at each corner to ensure a secure fit on your mattress. The mattress topper is made of memory foam, the cover is made of 100% polyester in twill weave and the protector is made of viscose, viscose and polyester from bamboo.
The cover, which is available in both king and queen sizes, costs $290 and $70 respectively. As an affordable alternative to buying an entirely new mattress, we’d like to show you many different ways to transform your bedroom into a place of relaxation in this Coop Home Goods sleep review.
Coop Home Goods Sleep Review: What Do Customers Think?
On the whole, online reviews of Coop Home Goods cushions tend to be positive. TrustPilot gives the company a 4/5 star rating, but there are definitely some dissatisfied customers. Some customers noted an unpleasant chemical smell from the products, and some mentioned the constant maintenance of the pillows, i.e. constant fluffing and readjustment:
“8 months after purchase, the pillow barely lasts two nights before it is completely flat and I have to put it back in the dryer to fluff it up. I tried adding more foam which only made it firmer but still flat. I’m now on the hunt for a new pillow.”
Aside from the few complaints in this regard, the customer base overall seems to be impressed with the quality and customer service. One buyer wrote, “I have to say I had little hope that just one pillow would get rid of my chronic neck pain. I guess you learn something new every day….After the first night with the pillow, the neck pain was gone. Literally gone. I sleep on my side, on my back, face down, hanging off the bed, etc. and the pillow still worked wonders.
The cherry on top of this beautiful story? The customer received a response from co-founder Kevin himself!
Is Coop Home Goods Worth It?
I would definitely be interested in purchasing from this company. The reviews of Coop Home Goods sleep indicate that the brand has a good reputation and a penchant for their customer service. For the most part, the online reviews are very positive and encouraging.
All of the products are hypoallergenic and cruelty-free, which are major selling points, and I believe the overall quality of the products makes for fair pricing. They also offer a 100-night sleep trial for returns (see FAQ section), so it’s a risk-free purchase.
